Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a single, self-contained gorilla trekking destination rather than a stop on a wider circuit — a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering 321 square kilometres of some of Africa’s oldest rainforest, split into four trekking sectors: Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga and Nkuringo.
