Gorilla Trekking and Murchison Falls Boat Cruise Itinerary

Gorilla Trekking and Murchison Falls Boat Cruise Itinerary

The Murchison Falls boat cruise, a launch trip along the Nile toward the base of the falls, is one of Uganda’s signature wildlife experiences, reliably close to hippo, crocodile and elephant.

What the Cruise Involves

A roughly three-hour launch trip from the Paraa jetty toward the base of the falls, where the entire Nile forces through a gap just seven metres wide.

Pairing It With Gorilla Trekking

Best suited to a 10-day or longer itinerary, given Murchison’s distance from Bwindi — most travellers route through Queen Elizabeth and Kibale on the way north.
