This is a sample hour-by-hour schedule for a typical trip of this length, built from how our itineraries actually run rather than a generic template — actual timings shift with flight schedules and which sector your permit is assigned to.
Day 1
6:00am departure from Entebbe. 7:30am scheduled flight to Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip. 9:00am road transfer to your Bwindi lodge. Afternoon free to rest. 6:00pm trekking briefing and early dinner.
Day 2
6:00am breakfast. 7:00am transfer to park headquarters. 7:30am ranger briefing and family assignment. 8:00am trek begins. Trek duration varies (30 minutes to 6 hours). One hour with the gorilla family once located. Afternoon return to lodge, late lunch, rest.
Day 3
Early breakfast. Road or air transfer back to Entebbe, timed against your onward international flight.
