Day 1: Departure From Entebbe Airport

Day 2: Touring The Inner Secrets Of Murchison Falls

The second day begins with a hearty breakfast and a short drive to the Nile for the park’s most iconic activity—the boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls. Gliding along the river, travelers are met with extraordinary scenes: pods of hippos surfacing with grunts, crocodiles basking lazily on sandy banks, and elephants descending to drink and bathe at the water’s edge. Birdlife is equally abundant, from African fish eagles to kingfishers and bee-eaters decorating the riverbanks.

As the boat approaches, the thunder of the falls grows louder. The Nile narrows dramatically from a width of nearly 50 meters to squeeze through a gorge barely 7 meters wide, plunging 45 meters into a roaring cauldron of mist and foam.
