This is our most complete single itinerary — gorilla trekking across two countries, a proper migration stay in the Serengeti, a full Kilimanjaro summit climb, and a genuine multi-day recovery on Zanzibar’s beaches, sequenced deliberately so the most physically demanding activity comes before the rest, not after.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the Kilimanjaro climb come after the gorilla treks and migration safari, not first?Gorilla trekking and game drives are far less physically taxing than a Kilimanjaro summit, so this order lets those legs serve as a gentle build-up rather than an exhausting finish after the mountain.
Is 18 days realistic, or does it feel rushed anywhere?Every leg carries at least one rest or buffer day built in specifically to prevent the trip from feeling like a checklist; it’s a long trip by design, not compressed to fit a shorter window.
