DAY 1

Entebbe to Bwindi by Air

With just three days, flying is the only way this itinerary works. Your driver-guide meets you at Entebbe for a short hop to Kajjansi airstrip, where a scheduled light aircraft takes off mid-morning for the roughly ninety-minute flight to Kihihi or Kisoro, followed by a thirty-to-forty-five-minute road transfer to your lodge. Evening trekking briefing over dinner.

DAY 2

Gorilla Trekking, Afternoon Flight Back

An early 6am wake-up for the drive to park headquarters and the 7:30am ranger briefing, family assignment, then the trek itself — thirty minutes to six hours through dense rainforest — and the strict hour with your gorilla family. Depending on how long the trek runs and how the day’s flight schedule lines up, you either fly back to Entebbe that same evening or overnight once more at the lodge, which we confirm once permits are secured for your dates.

DAY 3

Departure

If you overnighted a second night, a short morning flight back to Entebbe followed by your onward connection; if you flew out the evening before, this day is simply your international departure.
