Why the Flight Matters Here
Kihihi and Kisoro airstrips both sit within roughly 30–45 minutes of Bwindi’s various sectors, compared to the 8–9 hour road journey from Entebbe. On a 4-day itinerary this difference is the entire trip — flying preserves a genuine trekking day and a proper rest morning, where driving would consume nearly half the total time in transit alone.
What to Pack
Sturdy hiking boots, long trousers and sleeves, a rain jacket, and gardening-style gloves. Given the compressed schedule, pack efficiently — a single carry-on-sized bag makes the airstrip transfers considerably smoother than checked luggage would.
What if my flight is delayed?
