DAY 1
Your driver-guide meets you at Entebbe International Airport for the drive south-west to Bwindi, roughly 8–9 hours via Kampala’s Northern Bypass, the Equator line at Kayabwe, and lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre near Mbarara. Evening briefing over dinner on arrival.

DAY 2
7:30am briefing at park headquarters, family assignment based on fitness and tracker reports, then the trek — thirty minutes to six hours through dense rainforest — and a strict hour with your assigned family.

DAY 3
North through Ishasha, scanning the fig trees for the sector’s tree-climbing lions, arriving at your Queen Elizabeth lodge by early-to-mid afternoon with enough daylight left for a short evening game drive along the Kasenyi plains before dinner.

A morning boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel for hippos, crocodiles and waterbirds, then straight on to Kibale after lunch — this itinerary combines what the 7-day version splits across two separate days, so the afternoon is mostly transfer time, arriving in time to settle in before dinner.
