This circuit gives its two halves genuine separation — both of Uganda’s great primates, gorillas and chimpanzees, covered fully before flying to Kenya for a predator-focused Maasai Mara stay, rather than blending primates and predators into a single rushed itinerary.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why cover both chimps and gorillas rather than just one? They’re genuinely different experiences — chimpanzee trekking is faster-paced and less physically demanding, while gorilla trekking is slower and more strenuous, and this trail gives both proper billing.
Could Rwanda replace Uganda’s primate leg?Yes, though Rwanda doesn’t offer wild chimpanzee trekking to the same degree as Uganda’s Kibale, so this route is specifically built around Uganda’s dual-primate offering.
